We are pleased to welcome back passes to the public
Now through August 31st, we offer a selection of reduced prices to your favorite places to see art, the ocean, new animals and spend time with your family. The Friends of the Northwood Libraries have generously purchased library passes to the Museum of Science, Children’s Museum of New Hampshire, Seacoast Science Center, and Squam Lakes Natural Science Center. We came close to not having any museum passes due to the default budget, but the Friends of the Libraries decided to purchase them after hearing that library staff received numerous requests.
The Museum of Science pass admits up to four people at 50% off Exhibit Halls' admission. Only one pass per day is available and advance reservations are required. Children under three are admitted free but must have a timed ticket. Once you have booked the library pass, call 617-723-2500 (9:00am-5:00pm daily) to reserve your timed tickets to the Museum of Science.
The Squam Lakes Natural Science Center pass offers interactive nature exhibits with native creatures such as black bears, mountain lions, raptors, river otters, bobcats, and more, connected by open meadows, mature forests, and marsh boardwalks. The Library Membership pass is valid for up to four, $10 trail admissions. While pre-registration is not required, trail tickets can be reserved online using the pass at nhnature.org. You must bring the paper ticket with you to count toward admission. Don't forget to check their "Know Before You Go" section here for updated health and safety policies.
