Children who excel with literature in the classroom but crave something more challenging will be delighted to hear we now have a book discussion group for grades 3-5 at the Chesley Memorial Library! Lead by library technologist Katherine, this low-commitment Book Group gives students a chance not only to read and discuss books with others at their reading level outside of the classroom, but also to explore varying genres and age-appropriate themes. We may even get creative with themed projects or programs! From high fantasy and dystopias to historical fiction and nonfiction, Junior Book Discussion Group will open students' eyes to the wonderful worlds that exist within the written word. If you'd like to join us, please pick up a copy of our next read, Artemis Fowl, at the Chesley Memorial Library, to read before our next discussion - date tbd. Meetings will occur from 4:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. on a monthly basis. We hope to see you there!
