Children who excel with literature in the classroom but crave something more challenging will be delighted to hear we now have a book discussion group for grades 3-5 at the Chesley Memorial Library! Lead by library technologist Katherine, this low-commitment Book Group gives students a chance not only to read and discuss books with others at their reading level outside of the classroom, but also to explore varying genres and age-appropriate themes. We may even get creative with themed projects or programs! From high fantasy and dystopias to historical fiction and nonfiction, Junior Book Discussion Group will open students' eyes to the wonderful worlds that exist within the written word. Our next discussion will be a "bring-your-favorite-book" open discussion on February 10. Meetings will occur from 4:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. on a monthly basis. Interested in joining us? Drop by the library, or let Katherine know via email ([email protected]) or phone call (603-942-5472). We hope to see you there!
