Children who excel with literature in the classroom but crave something more challenging will be delighted to hear we now have a book discussion group for grades 3-5 at the Chesley Memorial Library! Lead by library technologist Katherine, this low-commitment Book Group gives students a chance to read and discuss books with others at their reading level outside of the classroom, in a friendly, casual atmosphere. We'll explore a wide array of genres and topics in our monthly pick, and get creative with themed projects and games while we share our thoughts on our most recent read. From high fantasy and dystopias to historical fiction and nonfiction, Junior Book Discussion Group will open students' eyes to the wonderful worlds that exist within the written word. Meetings will occur from 4:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. on a monthly basis. Interested in joining us? Drop by the library, or let Katherine know via email ([email protected]) or phone call (603-942-5472). We hope to see you there!
